The worldwide Danish bunker company Dan-Bunkering is now in the queue of creditors trying to settle unpaid bills from the major Chinese charter operator Sinoriches Enterprises.

The unpaid bills for delivery of bunker oil in February to one of Sinoriches up to 200 chartered ships is approximately $430,000, according to laws in the case, which is conducted by a District Court in Oregon, USA, Fairplay wrote.

The Chinese company has previously issued a message to shipowners and bunker suppliers that they have cashflow problems when they expand the business. Sinoriches, operating from Dalian, do not own ships themselves but charter bulk cargo ships.

And the problems with unpaid bills have previously hit another bunker supplier who is suing the Chinese company for about $ 500,000 while the South Korean shipping company Pan Ocean has sued Sinoriches in New York with a claim of $1,4 million that the company owes in charter hotels.

Dan-Bunkering is a part of Bunker Holding, which is a division of the shipping and bunkers group United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC), owned by the Finnish billionaire Torben Østergaard-Nielsen.

Bunker Holding is the world's second largest supplier of bunker oil.
