HRH Prince Joachim visits the DMF
His Royal Highness Prince Joachim visited the Danish Maritime Fair on Wednesday, where he did the opening speech at the Danish Maritime Technology Conference. After his speech at the conference Prince Joachim went to visit a number of exhibitors in the fair hall, where the prince showed curiosity as always.

Disruption program is open for everyone |
Danish shipping organization Danske Rederier will open the next edition of Maritime Disruptors Academy for all departments of Det Blå Danmark, when the event returns again this coming fall. 40 participants from shipping companies and relevant studies attended the first edition of the academy program of its kind back in January, which was held in collaboration with Dare Disrupt, who were extremely satisfied with the project.

When the Ballast Water Convention goes into force on September 8, 2017, up to 60,000 vessels worldwide will be equipped with new ballast water systems. In Denmark, there are up to 1,900 ships flying the Danish flag that need be retrofitted with a total value of up to 9 billion. kr.
