Braat celbrates 30 years in Danske Maritime

The Danish trade organization Danske Maritime’s CEO Jenny N. Braat will be celebrating her 30th anniversary in the organization that represents Danish shipyards and maritime equipment companies. She has been CEO of the trade organization since 2011.

““It has been a really exciting industry to be part of, and not least, to be part of a leading component. Many things categorizes the Danish maritime industry, but innovation and development is a clear common denominator, ”says Jenny N. Braat.

Back in February 1989, Jenny N. Braat was hired for a full time position in the organization. Prior to this, she had a student job in the organization since December 1988 while she was doing her Master of Science in Economics and Business and Administration. In 1995 she was stationed to Belgium, where she worked as manager of the trade organizations office in Brussels.

She returned to Denmark in 2000, and since then she has taken care of Danske Maritime's interests from the organization’s Danish odepartment. In 2007 she was appointed Deputy Director, and in 2011 she was appointed CEO of the organization.
