Theme day about workenvironment in ports

Danish trade organization Danske Havne hosted a well attended theme day on work environment at Lindø Port of Odense last week. There were several presentation held on workplace inspections, workplace psychology, port traffic, and construction work. 42 people from all over the country participated in the event.

All presentations were followed by many questions and led to great debate. After the event, the participants expressed that the theme day had provided great inspiration for the work environment work in the ports.

Danske Havne has recently put a toolbox on their website that was made for all members of Danske Havne. The purpose of the toolbox is to provide the right tools for daily work involving work environment in the ports. The toolbox makes it easy and simple to design a port-specific working environment manual for all members.
