Tanker ran aground in Aabenraa

SHORT NEWS: The product tanker Sucran C ran aground outside the port of Aabenraa around 3 pm on September 16, as the ship was departing the port. The tanker was pulled of the seabed approximately five hours later with the help of a tugboat.

After an inspection of the vessel, which showed no signs of damage or leaks, the tanker could return to sailing towards France. It has already passed the Kiel Canal.

The product tanker Sukran C is 4.274DWT and was build in 2004. It sails under the flag of Panama and is operated by Grateful Shipping Corp Ltd. In Turkey
