Conference: Digitalization is everywhere

Conference: Digitalization is everywhere

18-05-2017 13:00:00

Digitalization is the keyword when the Transport Economics Association (TF) gives an invitation to the Freight Transport Conference 2017 under the heading: The paperless logistics chain. The conference will be held at Danske Rederier on June 8.

Digitalization and disruption. The two words will be repeated in several of the submissions at this year's Freight Transport Conference, where Thomas Bagge, senior director of Maersk, will tell about the series of projects that will exploit new technologies for the benefit of customers, including blockchain technology.

Christian Villum from the Danish Design Center will ask how the profession addresses digitalization and disruption, and points out that Denmark can lead the way through strategic design.
There will also be comments about Self-driving trucks, terminal automation and utilization of computer-driven knowledge.

The conference will be held in Danske Rederier's premises on June 8.
