The Crown Prince at Danish Maritime Forum
HRH Crown Prince Frederik will take part in Danish Maritime Forum, with maritime executives, ministers and leading experts from around the world. The Danish Maritime Forum will take place from the 7 and 8 October 2015, in Copenhagen.
"We are very proud to announce that the Crown Prince participates in the Danish Maritime Forum. It helps to underline his great interest in the maritime industry and the positive difference it can make to the world," says Michael Søsted, Executive Secretary of the Danish Maritime Days.
At the Danish Maritime Forum. the Crown Prince can gain insight in some of the mega-trends that can have a major impact on the global maritime industry and international trade in the future.
The Crown Prince is very familiar with the sea. He is a former member of the Frogman Corps - the Navy's special forces, an experienced sailor and rear admiral in the Navy. At last year's opening of the Danish Maritime Forum the Crown Prince said that "the maritime industry plays a vital role in both the global economy and to human welfare across the globe."
The purpose of the Danish Maritime Forum is to redeem the global maritime industry's full potential to increase human welfare. It is by invitation only and is from 7 to 8th October in the new cruise terminal at Copenhagen North Harbour.
